Blue Cross Madagascar add the YWCA (FIKRIZAMA) to stakeholder pool

YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association) (FIKRIZAMA), who were trained by Blue Cross Madagascar in September have already been mobilising their communities in the regional effort to reduce levels of smoking, alcohol and drug training.

Madagscar campaigns usually tackle all three of the societal ills. The YWCA ambassadors have begun engagement with communities and handed out information produced by Blue Cross Madagascar.

They can be found in busy areas such as bus terminals, engaging with the public and store owners that sell drugs and alcohol to young people under 18 years. The YWCA team plan to target other busy centers  in the different cities in an ongoing campaign to raise consciousness about the detrimental effects of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
